On Monday we went to the New Providence Memorial day Parade. The only thing Olivia cared about was getting candy from the girl/boy scouts. I found such cute patriotic outfits for the kids in their closets. I was even feeling the buzz of patriotism and wore a red shirt, but couldn't quite convince Victor. Olivia also got a flag and mananged to not take out anyone's eyeballs! Another great day.
Oh and Blake cut another tooth. He is going to have quite the smile, he now has the front two bottom teeth and the right top snaggle fang! (those are the technical terms for sure)

Memorial Day Weekend
On Sunday we went to the Cole Bros. Circus in Livingston. While the clientele was quite normal, the circus was a little creepy. My parents and nephew Jared came along and Olivia was thrilled to see everything. She couldn't believe they could ride motorcycles in a dome cage and not crash! Ahh the beauty of circus people. The ladies that were suspended in the air by their hair were definitely a highlight and unbelievable at that. But I think the ultimate (at least according to Victor) was watching the elephant take a massive crap and pee and then observing unsuspecting circus patrons proceed to walk through it. All in all a great day! Olivia in amazement
This was how she watched the ENTIRE motorcycle show!
Mr. Blake may be drunk on excitement.

7 Months!
I can't believe it has been seven months already! No seriously, I think this whole time flies thing is creeping me out...Let's see some updates on Blake, he is weighing in around 18 pounds and is trying to crawl. He attempts the up on all fours position, where I gently proceed to knock his feet out from under him...just kidding:) He loves to eat everything and gets VERY angry if you take away whatever he is currently chomping on. We went out last weekend where I took away a dangerously small piece of pizza to that of which Blake blew a gasket! Screaming, turning bright red with his arms outstreched and stiff. It was quite a sight, and Olivia was yelling "give it back Mom, give it back!" Blake likes to sit in front of his toy basket and try his hardest to climb in. I think I may have a little monkey on my hands. I was hoping since Olivia walked around 9 months that he would like to just sit for awhile. No such luck!

WT Carnival
Our church has a carnival every year and for the past 3 years we have been patrons of this lovely white trash affair. We are better patrons of the fair then we are of the actual church. We were waiting for lightening to strike us in the parking lot. Janine and Ryan (Olivia's friend from school) met us there and the two little ones enjoyed the rides. Victor enjoyed the rides as well:) Ryan and Olivia and the scary ride worker

Biter Biscuits and Mother's Day Celebrations
Since Blake now has two teeth, we decided to test them out. He has been chomping on bagels and had his first biter biscuit experience. I forgot just how messy those things are. So he then received his first biter biscuit bath. Olivia had a Mother's Day celebration at school where the kids put on a show and then we dined on finger sandwiches that ten three year olds made...yummy. They sang a song called "Mom, Mom I love Mom" it ended with "wonderful, fabulous, super duper Mom." I know I am a sap but that was really cute!

We also celebrated Mother's Day with a brunch at our house. The Jacobus clan and the Bundonis family were in attendance along with Grandad. It was a lovely day as Olivia would say.Jared and his cream cheese face!

Playdate with the Campos'
Well Little Miss Olivia needed to celebrate her BFF's birthday, so we decided to make a cake and meet at the park. The girls had a great time, the boys loved looking at each other, and the mommies got some much needed time to catch up! It is pretty crazy to imagine that just five years ago we were still single and driving sports cars and convertibles...Now our girls are six months apart, our boys are six days apart and we both drive SUV's! And I know I can speak for Rose as well that we wouldn't trade it for anything! Blake and Matteo

Happy Birthday Pop Pop!
We celebrated Pop Pop's birthday on Sunday. Thanks to Auntie Jo Jo for the pics. What's with this family? We say all their names twice! Anyway lots of fun, good food, few if any fights between Via and Shaye and unfortunatley no cake for me! Blake only got a partial nap due to a little crapper screaming in his sleeping face and the Cranford fair so we headed out early leaving Victor and Olivia to represent.

Side note...I had the tv on in the morning before Olivia woke up. She comes up the stairs, looks at the tv and says "Mom, that's Donna, right? " Is it wrong that my three year old knows all about Donna Martin? I guess 90210 may be on little too much!
